Free stuff from Allure all of August

Amazingly, I stumbled across this deal today and just had to share it with you. Allure is having a contest each day Monday through Friday throughout the entire month of August. In this contest, you have a chance to win beauty products and fashion accessories that are worth a ton of money (at least to me anyway).

Allure reports that they are giving away a total of 32,350 items. It is hard to even comprehend that many freebies all in one month. To enter you'll have to visit the site each day. Each product that is being given away is offered at a different time during the day. For example, on August 23rd you could enter to win a Sebastian Professional Shine Crafter Moldable Wax at 1 p.m., a Zoya Professional Lacquer in Bevin at 2 p.m., a Nars Pro-Prime Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base at 4 p.m. and a Sultra The Bombshell Cone Rod Curling Iron at 5 p.m.

Staples Teacher Appreciation Day and penny deals

Staples has a lot of great deals for teachers and parents. If you pay attention to their summer sales, which start in July and last until school begins, you can get a ton of school supplies for super cheap. I often am able to stock up on enough supplies that I don't have to buy my daughter a thing throughout the entire school year.

First, Staples has a Teacher Appreciation Day. Anyone who is a teacher can sign up for a Teacher Rewards Card and participate in this event. This includes homeschooling mothers like myself. The form you need to complete to get a teacher card requires minimal information. You can ask for one right at the check-out counter.

Drink alkaline water to help prevent cancer development and growth

Receive a free bottle of Evamor Water, which supports this theory

Have you ever seen the Dr. Oz show? I love his show because he talks a lot about healthy foods and all-natural cures. Preventative health is also a big part of what I have seen on the show. Well, Dr. Mehmet Oz founded a company called HealthCorps. This company is sponsored by Evamor Water. This brand of water is extremely unique because it is highly alkaline. In fact, it is brought up from ½ a mile underground by a protected Artesian aquifer. The water never even comes into contact with the air until you open the bottle.

One thing I've learn from doing research on the net is that cancer can't grow in alkaline conditions. All cancer patients are shown to have an acidic pH. That fact alone is enough to get me to try Evamor water. Of course, the fact that they are currently offering a free sample of Evamor water doesn't hurt either.
